Why do people blog?

What a question.  There are no doubt hundreds of reasons why people decide to write a blog.  Today, however, I am just going to write a short ditty about the reason why I write.  Actually it’s not technically a ditty, but even so.

I wrote about my reasons at the start,

thinking about giving up alcohol and fulfilling a resolution.

I now relish the idea of self-discovery,

thinking about what makes me and other people tick.

A legitimate reason for research,

finding, searching, learning, growing.

Ideas leap into my head,

like a beautiful, graceful, springbok leaping and racing across the savannah, chased by a determined cheetah.

Its therapeutic to write things down,

givng your mind a thorough spring clean.

Its now fulfilling a passion and I find it cleansing for my soul.

I have lots of time for nice people and I’d love to help you have a positive outlook. I write about my experiences, lifestyle, and sometimes just random thoughts.
